WHO WE ARE
World Language Professionals Suppporting Biliterate Students
WAFLT Assessment services was established to fill a need for World Language Competency Testing in the state of Washington. Students who are already bilingual can meet the high school world language requirement with a proficiency test in reading, writing and speaking.
We are an arm of the Washington Association for Language Teachers (WAFLT) a non-profit founded in 1964 that serves a membership of 400 to 600 elementary through university level language teachers. WAFLT seeks to meet the needs of a profession dedicated to the teaching of world language skills and cultural awareness by providing information and sensitive global perspectives in an era of ever-increasing internationalization.
